MARTA’s Terms of Service require all account owners to be at least 18. Individuals under the age of 18 are considered minors on MARTA. Minors under age 13 are not allowed on MARTA.
Minors under 18 and at least 13 years of age are permitted to use MARTA's services only if they have the appropriate permission and direct supervision of their parent or legal guardian who owns the account.
You are responsible for all account activity of a minor on your account. You may wish to use commercially available parental control protections, such as computer hardware, software, or filtering services, to limit access to online materials that may be inappropriate for minors.
These policies apply to account usage with minors 13 years of age and over:
All registration and contact information must belong to the parent or legal guardian who owns the account.
All financial information on the account, such as payment and payout information, including credit cards, debit cards, prepaid cards, or bank accounts, must be that of the parent or legal guardian who owns the account.
All purchases made or items listed by minors must be supervised by the parent or legal guardian who owns the account.
All verification of identity and/or tax information provided to MARTA must belong to the parent or legal guardian who owns the account.
If selling on MARTA, all members, the minor, and the parent or legal guardian who owns the account must be disclosed in the About/Bio section.
Any account identified as owned or operated by a minor may result in suspension, limitation, or termination. Accounts identified that were operated by a minor of at least 13 years of age may be eligible to be reopened when the minor reaches the age of 18 and can verify their identity and accept MARTA’s Terms of Service.
These restrictions are in place for legal reasons, not because we think kids or teens are less creative or capable. For more information, please review our Terms of Service.
